"Vision is a physical, mental and spiritual phenomena of enlightenment."

Vision is far more than the biological function of the eyes. It is a complex, multi-dimensional experience — one that bridges our physical senses, mental perceptions, and spiritual understanding of the world around us.

Physically, vision allows us to process light, movement, and form. It gives us access to the tangible world — from reading a book to recognizing a loved one’s face. But even at this level, the eye is a marvel: a gateway of intricate biological design that constantly adapts, protects, and translates light into meaning.

Mentally, vision shapes how we interpret our surroundings. It affects cognition, memory, emotion, and attention. What we see informs what we think, how we feel, and how we relate to others. When our vision is impaired, our mental clarity and daily function can suffer — underscoring how deeply intertwined the visual system is with mental well-being. Vision can influence how we learn, how we make decisions, and how we imagine possibilities.

Spiritually, vision represents something even greater. Across faiths and cultures, sight has long been a symbol of clarity, awakening, and divine presence. In scripture, the ability to “see” is often synonymous with understanding truth, receiving revelation, or recognizing one’s purpose. To see clearly — in this sense — is not only a matter of healthy eyes, but of enlightened living.

This is the heart of our philosophy: true vision is holistic. It’s about seeing the world with physical clarity, mental focus, and spiritual purpose. When we nurture all three aspects of vision, we don’t just protect our sight — we illuminate the path to a more fulfilled and connected life.

Preventing Blindness from Cataracts

According to The World Health Organization’s (WHO) latest assessment, age-related cataract is responsible for 51% of world blindness, which represents about 20 million people.
Cataract is the clouding of the lens of the eye preventing clear vision. Most cases of cataract are related to the ageing process.

Currently the only FDA approved method for treating a cataract is surgery. Although a cataract can be surgically removed, in the United States and other countries, barriers exist that prevent patients from surgery. In many remote parts of the developing world, people remain blind from cataract due to a lack of access to eye care.

Cataract remains a leading cause of preventable blindness! Believe It or Not!

Dr. Leonidas A. Johnson proposes a solution to world blindness due to age-related cataract in his non-commercialized patents. Is there no one willing to develop and bring these patents to market? See Below:
